About YUNNO

YUNNO 101

YUNNO is a social website with one simple goal for its community: have fun and be active!

YUNNO is a community content website where people -- from grandmothers to your girlscout leaders to internet gamers who live in their mothers' basements (hi mom!) -- can come and post a competition to the masses. People from all over the world can come to YUNNO.com to see what you've posted and actively participate.

Active Participation is the key to YUNNO. Where you might spend hours a day aimlessly browsing the web, YUNNO gives you a purpose to keep coming back. You can participate in competitions by adding your own responses to them, or you can participate by voting and rating them. Or if you really want make us happy, you can do both!

So What Are Competitions?

Not to be vague, but competitions can be everything and anything. Got a funny picture and want to see what kind of captions people can come up with? Create a Caption Competition. Have a caption and want to see what kind of pictures people can come up with? Create a Reverse Caption Competition!

Competitions are not just open-ended discussion areas where content continually flows in forever. Competitions have a finite life. When you create a new competition, you give it a start date -- when people are allowed to participate -- and an end date -- when participation ends.

We have created custom-tailored competition types to give you the fun and entertaining experience that you're looking for. We are constantly expanding our competition selection in response to our community's demands. You can see our list of competition types by clicking Start A Competition at the top of this page. If you have something you want to share with us, please contact us at our Get Satisfaction Support Website.

How Do I Compete?

We have worked hard at making competing extremely easy and fast. If a competition is still accepting competition, there is a competition button listed at the top of the page with the description of the comp. If it's closed for competition, though, you can still participate in the voting process. You can rate things as hits (thumbs up) or misses (thumbs down); you can flag content as SPAM, Mature, or Off Topic, and you can add pieces of content to your favorites. And don't forget to share! You can share by using the share icon on the competition page to post to your friends and family on FaceBook, MySpace, Twitter, and many others! You can also send an email directly from the competition page.
